  • October The new PS Vita system inherits the overall features of the PS Vita PCH-1000 series, while featuring a more streamlined form factor that is 20-percent slimmer and 15-percent lighter than the original version. The system is available in six different colors, and newly adopts a high-definition liquid crystal display (LCD) for the 5-inch front display. It also newly incorporates a 1GB internal memory card, and the redesigned internal architecture of the new PS Vita system also contributes to stronger battery duration. With its enhanced, rounded shape, coupled with the trimmed down body, the new PS Vita allows users to enjoy game play more comfortably.

  • November PS Vita TV adopts chip sets and system software of the PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) portable entertainment system and its size is 6.5cm × 10.5cm, smallest of all PlayStation® platforms that connect to a TV. With PS Vita TV, users can comfortably enjoy various video services in high quality and have access to a variety of network services for PS Vita. PS Vita TV offers a vast lineup of games for PS Vita, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), and PlayStation® games from PS one® classics, all which can be enjoyed by using the Wireless Controller (DUALSHOCK®3).
  • November Deeply integrates social capabilities and enhanced network services. PS4™ features a powerful AMD custom chip that contains the core CPU and GPU which exerts the high performance of the system, and the PC-like architecture of PS4™ also greatly eases game creation. PS4™ offers gamers a whole new way to play through various interactions possible via PlayStation®Vita and other mobile devices, and also by introducing features such as the “SHARE” button and touch pad incorporated in the Wireless Controller for PS4™ (DUALSHOCK®4).
