Tokyo, May 10, 2011– Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. responsible for business operation in Japan, today announced that it will release a stereo ear phone for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) in 6 color variations on July 21, 2011 at a Recommended Retail Price of 2,200 yen (including tax).

The new stereo earphone for the PSP system will be offered in 6 color variations of Black, White, Silver, Red, Blue, and Pink, allowing users to enjoy color coordination with their PSP systems. Adopting 400kj/㎥neojium magnet which enhances sound resolution and generates clear mid high sound and powerful low sound, the new stereo earphone is perfect for enjoying a variety of content including games even when users are on the move.

SCEJ will continue to further expand the PSP platform along with exciting line-ups of software titles and peripherals and create a new world of computer entertainment that is only possible on PlayStation.
